Truffle and mushroom lover’s paradise. When you have enough seafood head over here. Yes they have fish but they lead with fresh wild mushrooms and truffles.
We were so lucky the night we were there to get the famous white truffle. 5 euros a gram! Don’t miss it.

WOW. Just when you thought you’d tried allll the pasta!! These guys are serving up plates of original yet authentic dishes of the most incredible food. Most dishes are spiked with fresh truffle but in a way which is beautiful and balanced.

To start we had had an amazing Sole dish with caponata and the most original Melanzene parmagiana I’ve ever experienced.

Then for mains we had a Carbonara which was unlike any standard carbonara you’ve ever had along side a black garlic and shrimp dish that was so full of flavour it was verging on Asian vibes! All Unreal!

The staff and owners are amazing and so friendly and also hunt their own truffles and we’re here waiting on dessert.

Delicious food with lots of truffle.
Literally almost every dish contains at least some white or black truffle, which can only be positive in my eyes. The taste, however, is not overdone. Everything is well balanced, fresh and delicious. Besides, the staff is very friendly.
The prices are a bit high but worth it in my opinion. Slightly outside the center Al Tartufo is probably one of the better restaurants in Otranto.

Worse restaurant in Italy I've ever tried. For a medium person you need to eat at least 4 plates and each of them costs around 17 euros. Toilets are in bad shape. We finish our "dinner" and cross the street for some food, really. Quality of the food was just ok, for the price you pay it is very bad. My ravioli plate had 3 ravioli, literally.
