Stopped here for lunch almost every day on our way back from the beach – so glad we found it! Fresh, delicious food with a great variety, from parmigiana, lasagna, pasta, and fish to sweet and savoury pastries. Locals eat here too, which says it all. Friendly staff who speak English, vegetarian and gluten-free options, and a relaxed setting away from the tourist crowds. Authentic Italian flavours at their best – highly recommended!

The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly, and the prices were great compared to other places. It’s a pity I discovered this place only two days before going back home. On the first day we ordered 4 dishes plus 2 pastries to take away and paid €30 - the same amount we had paid a few days earlier for a small pizza and a not-so-tasty pasta somewhere else.

The food here was so good that we ordered some to take away and it continued the journey with us. 😁😁😁
I'm also happy that this place is great not only for Italians but also for tourists. We don’t have to worry about being overcharged here.☺️

We stopped here for lunch on our way back from the beach almost every day. The selection of meals was great and always fresh. So glad we found this. Locals would have lunch here also.

These meals are exactly reflective of if you’ve grown up with your nonna cooking you authentic Calabrian food. Thank me later but this is a must place to go to, and yes I ate everything in the photos.

Found this on my morning tourist walk. Not far from all the tourist action at non tourist trap prices. Friendly staff and good coffee. Tried the torciglione con la crema and it was awesome. Will be back tomorrow!

When traveling in Italy I am always trying to find some local rosticceria to try authentic food. In Tropea I found this lovely bakery with small buffet food. We came here twice for a lunch and everything we tried was delicious. I loved parmigiana, but also lasagna, pasta with tomato sauce and meet was really nice. We tried also fish with potatoes and spinach and it was nice and fresh. Besides cooked dishes they have also sweet and savory pastries, local products and drinks. They have also vegetarian and gluten free options. You can either take away or eat there. Everyone was very nice and friendly and could speak English. We had really nice experience so I definitely recommend this place ❤️

This Italian bar served absolutely delicious food, made with fresh and local ingredients. It’s located away from the usual tourist crowds, which made the whole experience calm and relaxing. A perfect spot to enjoy authentic Italian flavors in a peaceful setting. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to eat and try all the typical sud Italy food in a cheap way( better than all the expensive tourists trap for tourists in the center). Everything is good. Better if you try the pasta, meat and normal dishes, they are excellent like to eat in family. Pizza, sandwich are average but not so bad.
