I’ve eaten at many restaurants, but this experience was truly unique. The chef — and I mean the chef — did absolutely everything. He took our order, cooked the meal, served it with a smile, and even checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Watching one person handle an entire restaurant with such grace and passion was inspiring. You could tell he put his heart into every detail, from the seasoning of the food to the way the plate was presented. The food itself? Absolutely delicious — full of flavor and clearly made with love. The service was personal and genuine, because, well… it was personal! We had Gamberetti Sale e Pepe, Ravioli Caprese, Spaghetti Vongole, Spaghetti Puttanesca, Swordfish and Tiramisu. It might take a bit longer than usual since it’s a one-man operation, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. You’re not just eating out — you’re witnessing dedication in action. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates craftsmanship, authenticity, and a touch of human magic in their dining experience.

Long story short. If you are someone who is always in a rush or feels impatient, this might not be the right spot for you. The restaurant is run by a single person who manages everything - from the kitchen to service and beyond. Believe me, it is a one-man show, but it works just beautifully. We dined here on three separate evenings, which I think speaks about how special this place truly is. The food constantly surprised and delighted me every time. The owner, Piccoletto, is deeply involved in every aspect of the experience. He takes the time to come to your table, share insights about the dishes, and give you a personal connection to the meal. He is hard at work preparing the food so you better be patient. Also, if you are lucky, you will even get to watch him cook. And, for an even rarer treat, he might surprise you with a trumpet performance during your dinner - an unforgettable, live music experience. The flavors in the food are phenomenal, and every dish is worth trying. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to Piccoletto for everything he did for us during our visit. I am already looking forward to our next time in town and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting. A Fond Farewell from Your Argentine Friends.

This place was magical - I’m so glad we ate hear because it would have been easy to overlook and miss. It is incredibly charming and authentic feeling with amazing food and atmosphere, and the staff (possibly owner?) was so friendly and warm with us clueless Americans. The food deserves paragraphs of praise, but to keep it short we were all highly impressed and loved their menu featuring a lot of coastal Italian options.

This was an amazing experience. We made the uninformed decision to go to the Almafi in off season (November), and stay in a smaller town (Praiano). Once we got here we realized most things were closed for the season, but thankfully there were two restaurants open still (outside of our hotel where the food was terrible)...Saghir was one of those options and we were so thankful it was! It's a one man show. He cooked and served and bartended - and we loved every minute we were there. He was great and so was the food. Highly recommend no matter what season you're visiting! Very small place but that adds to the experience for us.

A very cute and tiny restaurant with just a few tables in Praiano – charming in its own way. The food was good and solid, though not particularly outstanding. As others have mentioned, it’s a true one-man show, so waiting times are quite long. If you want to order something extra, it takes a while, which is a pity, because otherwise the place has a lot of potential. Located right by the street (quite common along the Amalfi Coast), which also shapes the atmosphere. All in all, a nice evening with decent food in a unique little spot.

I made a reservation here based on past reviews, but we happened to go on a quieter night, so we had nearly the whole place to ourselves. The interior is really wholesome and charming, the wine was very tasty and both our meals were delicious. We split mussels for our appetizer which was phenomenal and I had the squid as my main. It was very flavorful. Definitely recommend this spot for a more intimate dining experience.

An incredible one-man operation; Saghir takes your order and cooks your whole meal. Despite just one person running the whole show, orders are taken promptly and the food is served without a long wait. The seafood is fresh and given in generous portions. We first came for lunch and were so impressed we returned for dinner the next day. The panna cotta was the best we’ve ever had and Saghir was kind enough to show us how he makes it.
